“The Executive Club” is a loosely organized group of those at the executive level in their careers. It spans across all professional working industries and although it is mainly a U.S. based group, we have members across the globe with members totaling 13,500 as of January 1, 2011.
If you are a member of LinkedIn, be sure to join our group there. If you are not a member of LinkedIn I highly encourage you to do so. It is a free professional networking site that anyone interested in their career should join. Once in, you can use it as little or as much as you like.
If you would like to see a recent demographics report on the group, view the pdf file here.
The cost is free for members to join and currently we are mainly about connecting with each other and distributing meaningful tidbits of information amongst each other.
Your Group Moderator is Sean Rehder, you can view his LinkedIn.com profile here or email him at sean@execclub.org.
For the upcoming year, 2011, we are planning to make this group much more than just an online community.
The Blog
Located at www.ExecClub.org this blog has a goal of creating and distributing member created content. In the long run, we want to have several, meaningful posts that are business related directly from those that play decision making roles in the real business world.
Data/Metric Reporting
For 2011 we will be distributing information around metrics/demographics of the group and also key pieces of research aimed at enabling members to both know and engage their professional community.
Offline Networking
Online networking is great, but offline networking is even better. We be setting up small groups for those that are in the same geographical location and have the same professional or social interests. These will be covered in the “Four For” programs where the goal is to set up mini-events for four people at a time. For example…lunch, dinner, golf, tennis, etc.
